The 90% Dance.

I got my first midterm from the horse class back today - I got an 90/100. Pretty good, I'd say. But I still could've done better. And as for the Chem midterm, well let's not talk about that, shall we? :P

On another note, I think I have bad luck with fish here. The other day Pedro was floating at the top of the tank - dead. I don't know what happened, he was perfectly fine the night before and was eating and everything. Buhbuh was still alive. But a day or so before that I started to notice some white fluffy stuff on his side that eventually spread to his back tail fin. I whipped up the google and confirmed that it was some fungus that was on him so last night Nelson and I went to Petco and bought some aquarium gravel, new water conditioner, and fungus medicine. I was a bit hesitant at first because of the whole charade I went through with Mino, buying all these different foods and changing his water and taking the pH of it and all that crap and in the end he died. But I really wanted Buhbuh to pull through so again, I dropped more money than necessary to help him get better.

After dinner I scooped him out of his home and completely washed out his tank. I took out the blue rocks and shells, rinsed the new gravel, boiled hot water to make sure to kill all the fungus that was possibly in there. After it was set up again, we dissolved one of the medicine tablets into the water but when we were about to put Buhbuh back he wasn't moving around anymore. :( I was pretty bummed out. But now we've still got that whole set up with no fishy, my love tried to make me feel better by saying we could get more fishy from a better place (because he thinks that they were doomed from the start because the tank they came from at the store was all grimy and stuff). So today, we might go to Woodland or Sacramento and pick up some fishies.

Among other things, I've really been missing WoW lately. When people ask, I mostly say that I just miss the friends I never talk to anymore from the game - but in reality, I do miss the game too. I miss arena the most. Working together with your team to run in and mercilessly slaughter the other team was awesome. The best games were the really close ones, where both teams had the same amount of skill and you've only got one member left on each side. The best part about my arena experience were my partners. We never got mad or pissed at each other. It was all in good fun. It was especially awesome listening to Theo cackle evilly when we'd slam on the other teams. Ah...WoW. But what I really miss most...is my rogue. I started out as a hunter and loved my pet so much and owning the damage meters with my steady shot macro, but I really got attached to my rogue to be honest. He was originally made to be just a side character lowbie that I would only level when I was bored. He started out as that then turned into the full fledged lvl 70 all blown out in epics, the character I logged onto first to just sit around in Stormwind all day. It got to the point where I wasn't even doing anything in WoW anymore, I would just log on my rogue and park his ass in the city and chat with people.

Some good news though, apparently Figureprints has no waiting list/lottery now. So everyone that wants a Figureprint can put in the order right away. I was supposed to get a Figureprint for Christmas one year, but that never happened. :( Well, now I could probably just get one myself...if I can bring myself to drop $150 for a print. Maybe for my rogue. I could see myself doing that, hah.
